Dark Tifa

I did this photo manipulation a VERY long time ago. I think over a year ago, but I figured I would share it. This is a photo manipulation i did of the original photo using photoshop CS3. I am sure you can find it anywhere on the web or on deviant and you can compare what I did to it. I used a lot of lighting with brightness and contrast so i can turn dark to black. You can't select black so you have to make it in other ways. I had originally highlighted most of her parts with the lasso too and first took away the colors like brown and then went and changed the lighting to distinguish leather from Cloth. It took a long time, i removed the text from my original because it looks better without all that script. Hope you like my version of tifa. This was my idea. I loved her new pose but i wanted her to wear her new clothing. So I did the best i could to redesign it close to the new one then next thing you know I am drawing in extra stuff like a necklace i used with the rectangle tool and gave her Cloud's Fenrir tattoo for more of a personal look. Just stamped his symbol on her belly, and lighten the opacity. It's the same idea when someone puts someone's name on their body but cloud's fenrir was better choice since they are very close. Then i just smoothed out the surface by blurring it and for the text i gave it two layers. Motion blurred the top one and the bottom messed with it's layers giving it lighting. borders is done the same way after you draw them in. The background is also with lights. I had to cut her out and put her on another background as well. All in all this manipulation came out okay. Hope you like.
